Iyoke Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

IRVING, Texas – Ten Dallas College women's student-athletes received College Sports Communicators Academic All-District recognition.

The award, nominated, voted on and organized by athletic communication directors across the country and Canada, honors student-athletes who perform at high levels in the classroom and on the playing surface. To be eligible, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher, meet significant strict competition requirements and be in their sophomore year academically and athletically. GPAs cannot be rounded up.

This year's Dallas College Athletics CSC Academic All-District women's recipients are: Dallas College Brookhaven women's soccer player Emma Stewart, Dallas College Cedar Valley women's basketball player Breanna Sharp, Cedar Valley women's soccer players Celeste Gonzalez, Victory Oyoyo-Peter and Olivia Reyna, Dallas College Eastfield women's soccer player Samantha Pena, Dallas College Mountain View volleyball player Sydnei Pena, Dallas College Mountain View women's soccer player Stephanie Arreola, Dallas College North Lake volleyball player Katie Lloyd and Dallas College Richland women's soccer player Abigail Iyoke.

These student-athletes will now be voted on for CSC Academic All-America honors.
