Brenneman Repeats as Regional Coach of Year

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Dallas College Richland's Jimmy Brenneman was named the American Baseball Coaches Association/ATEC National Junior College Athletic Association Division III South Central Regional Coach of the Year.

It is the second straight year he received the award.

Brenneman guided the Thunderducks to the NJCAA Division III World Series semifinals for a second straight year. Richland repeated as the South Central District Tournament champions, and went 38-24 this season.

In his three years at Richland, Brenneman has won 37 or more games in each year. He has a 117-66 record at Richland and an overall mark of 176-120 in five years as a head coach, which include two years at Frontier Community College before he took over the Thunderducks' program.
