Antonio Richardson was named an assistant men's basketball coach at Dallas College Richland in July 2023.

Previously, Richardson served as an assistant coach at Dallas College Eastfield for 17 years. There, he helped the Harvester Bees reach the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III championship game in 2013.

In 2024-25, Richland finished third at the NJCAA Division III national tournament. The Thunderducks beat top seed Dutchess Community College 67-60. They defeated Minnesota State Community and Technical College 86-69 in the third place game. Richland won the Dallas Athletic Conference regular season title. Barack Holland was an NJCAA Division III First Team All-American, while also being selected as the DAC Most Valuable Player.

In his first year with Richland in 2023-24, the Thunderducks went 16-9 overall, 8-2 in the Dallas Athletic Conference. Richland was ranked No. 8 in the final National Junior College Athletic Association Division III poll. The Thunderducks advanced to the NJCAA Division III South Central District championship game.
