Women's Basketball Set to Begin Nov. 1

2022-23 Women's Basketball Schedule

Dallas College Richland women's basketball team will open the season Nov. 1 against Dallas College Cedar Valley in a nonconference game that tips off at 6 p.m.

The Thunderducks, who won their final game of last year's abbrieviated six-game season and went 1-4 in Dallas Athletic Conference play, will follow up the season opener with three straight home games, beginning with Shorter College Nov. 4. That begins a stretch of four home games in a five-game span, which culminates with Allen County Community College Nov. 18.

Richland will meet Panola College and East Texas Baptist University Junior Varsity on the road Nov. 22 and Nov. 29, respectively, to close out the opening month. After a Dec. 3 road game at Cisco College, the Thunderducks host Southwestern Assemblies of God University Junior Varsity Dec. 5 and Texas Wesleyan University Junior Varsity Dec. 10 prior to the Christmas break.

The Thunderducks return home Jan. 4 to host Frank Phillips College. A road contest at Southwestern Christian College Jan. 7 precedes a return trip from SAGU JV Jan. 10 before conference play begins.

Richland meets Cedar Valley in the DAC opener Jan. 19 at home. Southwestern Adventist University, ETBU's JV and Holy Patriot University will make trips to Richland Jan. 23, Feb. 6 and Feb. 16, respectively, to break up league play, which ends Feb. 23 at home against Dallas College Mountain View.
