Trahan Named DAC Player of Week

Dallas College Richland's Ed Trahan has been named the Dallas Athletic Conference men's basketball Player of the Week.

Trahan, a sophomore from Cypress, Texas, had a double-double in a 68-63 win over National Junior College Athletic Association Division I Murray State College. He scored 23 points, pulled down 10 rebounds and had two steals, while shooting 10 of 12 from the field, including 3 of 4 from three-point range.

Trahan is averaging 15.4 points and 9.8 rebounds per game.

Richland (4-4) will host Hill College 5 p.m. Tuesday.
